Mary Ablett, MSW, LCSW received her master’s in clinical social work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She has spent her career working in private practice, medical and psychiatric hospitals, and academia. She has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques for a wide range of problems. Ms. Ablett specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, Panic Disorder, and childhood behavioral problems. She also specializes in treatment for stress-related disorders and is particularly interested in early intervention for adolescents and young adults who are experiencing difficult life transitions.

Mary Ablett is also co-founder of the Psychotherapy, Training, and Education Center, Inc. (PSYTEC) and is an experienced professional trainer in both clinical and ethical issues. Her training and consultation services include parent coaching, professional development and mentoring, supervision and consultation to therapists.
